A monumental occasion

Terrance became best friends with Dominic Chandler, bringing his grand total of best friends to 20.
That's right; Terrance achieved his Lifetime Want!
His new want is to become a General in the Army, so he quickly got a job as a Flight Officer.

In other career news, Miranda was promoted to Vice Squad, Alex became an inventor, and Joanne, whose goal is to become a Professional Party Guest, was hired as a Projectionist.

An unfortunate union

Terrance was thrilled to finally be marrying the love of his life (well...the other one besides Sheila).
Joanne, on the other hand, was not so thrilled.

Monica noticed the bride's unhappiness, but didn't say anything as the couple chowed on wedding cake.

It doesn't make sense to tell Joanne to "keep it in her pants", but we all hope she doesn't pull a typical Romance Sim move and do the entire town.

Graduation day: The wait is over

It was a long 4 years, but these Sims lived to tell the tale.
Just to recap:
Bex is once again single, though she's slept with half the school.
Angelo is engaged to Sheila, his brother's boyfriend.
Terrance has a NEW girlfriend named Joanne Hurt and he's engaged to her.
James and Tessa have been engaged for 4 years and hope to be married soon.
All of them graduted Summa Cum Laude, but are moving back in with their parents. Way to be.

Let the drama unfold!

Let's start with good ol' Bex. Our athletic friend managed to make some more "friends" while at college.

Here's Bex admiring the tasty professor William.

And here she is playing tonsil hockey with her good pal Paul.
Things were going great with both men until Paul found his lover at the bowling alley with his drama professor. Oh, the horror!

Bex, however, was determined to have a lovely evening. It appears she succeeded.

While all of this was going on, Angelo remained oblivious. He was convinced his fiancee was as committed and faithful as he was (well, for the most part).
Then, one fine morning, he spotted the dozens of rose bouquets Paul had left for Bex.

Angelo ran inside to tell Bex the wedding was off. You would think, as a Romance Sim, she wouldn't mind an having an excuse not to commit for a lifetime.

Au contraire...

Now Angelo could do what he'd been longing to do since that fateful day in the cafeteria: propose to Sheila!

She said yes, and the couple hope to get married soon. One wonders how Terrance will take the news...
Terrance, it appears, hasn't been thinking much about Sheila lately. He got caught up in a whirlwind romance with a pretty redhead named Joanne. Perhaps it's the resemblance to his mom that he finds so attractive. But one night, after a very good date, he got carried away and proposed!

Rebound, much, Terrance? The bad news? She's a ROMANCE SIM, just like his former flame! Oddly enough, she was all for getting engaged. What? Maybe she's trying to turn over a new leaf. But who knows how long this relationship will last.

Love is in the air

Tessa and James got engaged like we knew they would. How cute.
Bex, on the other hand, has expressed her disdain for monogamy in various ways.

Way #1: Payton Go

Way #2: Prof. Cleve

Way #3: Angelo Stevens

Way #4: Terrance Stevens

Currently, Bex is unhappily engaged to Angelo Stevens. She's made out with a total of 5 Sims, though her new goal is 10. Terrance couldn't believe Bex had 3 other guys, even though he has two girlfriends himself. Wooo, hypocrisy.
Terrance HAD 11 best friends, more than halfway towards his goal of 20, but he no longer considers Angelo or Bex friends.
In other news, Terrance changed his major to Political Science.

The new collegiates

I don't know if that's the proper word. But here they are.

Terrance Stevens, undeclared major.

Angelo Stevens, Literature major.

Tessa Jorgen, undeclared major.

Sheila Cummings, Political Science major.

Bex Jorgen, Drama major.

James Stevens, Biology major.

The Cummings remain rather unexciting

Allen was promoted to Intern and Sheila got an A+ in school. Allen also hired a nanny to take care of his daughter. The nanny lasted about one day.
To Sheila's delight, there was a now day, and she got to spend some time with her new hired friend.

Sheila's birthday finally came and she invited her brothers and Jared's fiancee Dominic to party with her and Allen.

She grew up well, choosing the Popularity aspiration, and deciding to become a general when she got older.

The best part of her birthday, however, was shared with her best friend and new boyfriend Terrance Stevens.

Nothing much to report

It seems sad that I haven't posted in 3 weeks, and there's still not much to say.
The Stevens family has met with a few changes, though.

Little Mayzie finally learned to talk and celebrated her birthday in the platinum aspiration.

Tom was promoted to Field Researcher and celebrated by using his impressive cooking skills to make Baked Alaska for the entire family.
Terrance and Angelo were both awarded a SimCity Scholars Grant and will be attending college, along with their brother James, very soon.

Bridget gave birth to her sixth child, a healthy baby boy named Barack, after the new president. Now Bridget is on her way to achieving her life goal (marrying off six children).

What have the Jorgens been up to lately?

Before their untimely demise, Ralph made 10 best friends and his sister Betsy maxed out her cooking skills.

Jeannie was promoted to the top of the militairy career track, but was soon fired after starting a war between the kitchen staff over some leftover Beenie Weenies. In order to make herself feel better, she maxed out her charisma skill.

Tessa got the Orphaned Sims Grant and SimCity Scholar Grant for good grades and lack of parents. She asked James Stevens out on a date (they had three bolts of chemistry) and they are now "going steady".

Bex was rejected for her first kiss by Orlando Centowski. Shortly afterwards, her grandfather died, which sent Bex into a period of deep depression.
Fortunately, two scholarships and a makeout session with Terrance Stevens AND Orlando fixed this. She now has her sights set on Angelo Stevens, James and Terrance's brother.

Stevens family update

Tom was promoted to Lab Assistant and then demoted again 3 TIMES!! He's currently a lab assistant, but hopefully he'll move UP rather than down.
Mayzie grew into a very adorable toddler. She's a nearly perfect Cancer with at least 8 points in each personality slot.

Alex taught Mayzie to walk and use the toilet, because he's nice like that.

Alex had his first kiss with Miranda (and the second date was much better than the first).
They then became "best friends", but you don't stick your tongue in your best friend's mouth, do you?

The triplets had a wonderful birthday with much cake.

James grew into a Family Sim who wants to become a Captain Hero.

Angelo became Blueberry Meadows' first Fortune Sim with a LTW of reaching the top of the adventurer career.

Terrance became a Popularity Sim who wants to have 20 BFFs before he dies.
All 4 Stevens boys got A+s in school, and Angelo received the SimCity Scholar Grant.
Tomorrow we visit the Cummings, and finally get to see what happens with the Dominic/Jared thing.

Meet the Stevens family

Tom and Bridget Stevens were highschool sweethearts that had planned a wonderful future: a big house, 2 kids, and a high-paying job in the science field for Tom.
Bridget became pregnant with their first child, Alex, shortly after they were married. It wasn't until she became pregnant again that all the trouble started.
When the 9 months were up, Bridget gave birth to not one, but three baby boys in varying shades of skin color.
With food prices skyrocketing and four hungry babies to feed, the Stevens moved into a small house in Blueberry Meadows, where they could live off the land.
It wasn't until later that they realized the grass wasn't green because the land was fertile - the gardeners sprayed it that color. Blueberry Meadows was just another suburb.

Bridget was the family rock. She made lunches for the boys every day and had learned to multitask in every sense of the word - for instance, none of the other nursing mothers had been able to breastfeed three children and make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for the fourth, all at the same time. She hadn't latched on to the idea of 21st century feminism and was perfectly happy being a stay-at-home mother. Though she'd already given birth to four rambunctious boys and had exhausted the hospital's supply of morphine, Bridget desperately wanted two more children (hopefully girls). The quiet Irish Virgo could often be found cooking, cleaning, or reading.

Tom helped his wife with the kids and household chores as much as he could, but he had other things on his mind, such as reaching the top of the science career. After a long, ultimately unsuccessful stint in the music career, he'd finally landed the job of his dreams - working as a test subject in a laboratory. He, too, was a Virgo whose idea of quality time was sitting next to his wife on the couch while reading a book (this suited Bridget just fine, however).

Alex was somewhat of a stud. Wearing his worn leather jacket with John Travolta as his inspiration, he'd perfected the devil-may-care scowl and slouched attractively against buildings just for the heck of it.
There was just one thing wrong with him: he was a nerd.
Not to stereotype Knowledge Sims, but John Travolta certainly hadn't wanted to be a scientist like his father. (Though he had wanted to be a pilot and was now one, as well as an overrated actor and creepy Scientologist.)
So Alex tried to keep his mouth shut and hoped girls would ignore the vast number of science classes he was taking and would instead find his aloof Gemini-ism "hot".

Of the triplets, Angelo was the leader. A world renowned joker and class clown, you either loved the boy or wanted to strangle him (his brothers mostly wanted to strangle him).
Angelo also had a curious love for the underbellies of horses, though no one quite knew why.

Don't let the look on his face fool you; James was a kind and loving soul with a wonderful sense of humor.
Screw that.
The last part was essentially true, but James was in some ways Angelo's opposite. He wasn't as nice or funny and definitely not as extroverted, but cared deeply about rights of all kinds - LGBT Rights, Human Rights, Animal Rights, Miranda Rights....
Even if his personality was a little bit off, James was by far the best-looking triplet.

Terrance was a weirdo. The pirate costume he had worn since the age of 3. It didn't fit quite right, and he didn't particularly like pirates, but he wore it all the same. Normally the weird ones are freakish introverts that hide in dark corners, but Terrance loved people and made a new friend every day.
Perhaps this was why he and Angelo didn't quite get along: they were always in competition to see who could be the popularest (which isn't a word, but we're talking about 10-year-olds).
Now all the boys were at public school, Tom had a job as a Test Subject, and Bridget was trying to get pregnant. Do we really want to know what happens next?
