One day closer to making history...

Little Harvey Milk grew from a helpless infant to a helpless toddler; handsome, whip-smart, and serious.

His personality mirrored that of Grandpa Edison's, making him a disturbingly neat, outgoing jock who probably felt a sense of entitlement do to his famous moniker.
But I digress.
The little tyke learned quickly and took to toddling around the house when Daddy was home.

Finally, eager to get rid of the cute but rebellious toddler, Terrance bought the kid a birthday cake.

KABLAM! Birthday cake = instant child. Congratulations, Harvey.

A very merry unbirthday

Jared wasn't about to let a little thing like the death of a loved one get in the way of his son's special day. He planned a spectacular party, inviting relatives from all over town.

Tyson grew into an adorable little boy, with a haircut just like his dad's.

His sister Olivia days later, making yet another family sick of birthday cake.

Maybe they'll start making Baby Obama movies...

Little Barack is growing up. Here he is with at his birthday party, with Mommy tastefully dressed in her finest lingerie.

And now he's a toddler! Aw, how grown up!

Wait, are those elf ears? Barack might just have elf ears.
Anyway, his parents taught him to talk, walk, and potty trained him good, all within 2 days of his birthday. Not too shabby, Tom and Bridget.
Finally, one birthday later, Barack was a real boy.

We'll continue to watch the little 'un grow, and who knows, maybe he'll become the president and screw up the country, just like his namesake. His parents would be so proud.

Meet the Cummings family

Allen Cummings, his wife Jane, and their twin sons Jared and Jason had been living contentedly in Riverblossom Hills for quite some time when Jane found out something shocking: she was pregnant again.
This, of course, should not have been a shocking thing. Allen and Jane were intimate much of the time.
But Allen had had a vasectomy after the birth of the twins.
Filled with shame, Jane left shortly after giving birth to a daughter, Sheila. Allen was heartbroken, but knew his children were depending on him.
After struggling to support his family through various odd jobs, Allen was finally promised a successful career in the Medicine track by a good friend. The only catch: the Cummings family would have to move to Blueberry Meadows.

Allen was a Knowledge Aquarius who'd finally gotten his dream job: working as an Emergency Room Tech in the local hospital. His life time goal was to some day be promoted to Chief of Staff. Though it had been several years after Jane's departure, he hadn't been on a single date. He had his eye on his neighbor Pheobe Chandler, who was also a Knowledge Sim in the Medical Career, but she was married.

Twins Jason and Jared didn't have much in common besides looks and aspirations (both were Popularity Sims). Jared was a Leo who wanted to become a celebrity chef. Jason was an Aquarius, like his dad, and wanted to be a Captain Hero. Another difference between the two was their sexuality: Jared wasn't "gay", but he had kissed Dominic Chandler.... Both teens had gotten jobs in their desired career tracks to help out their dad.

Sheila was the spitting image of her mom, Jane, but her dad didn't seem to mind. She was a very well-adjusted Cancer who learned new skills rapidly.

Ralph Jorgen, who knew EVERYONE in the neighborhood, quickly introduced himself to Allen. He invited his family to spend time with their new neighbor, but it ended up just being him and Allen...alone...by themselves.
Luckily, the meal was far from romantic.

Stevens family update

Tom was promoted to Lab Assistant and then demoted again 3 TIMES!! He's currently a lab assistant, but hopefully he'll move UP rather than down.
Mayzie grew into a very adorable toddler. She's a nearly perfect Cancer with at least 8 points in each personality slot.

Alex taught Mayzie to walk and use the toilet, because he's nice like that.

Alex had his first kiss with Miranda (and the second date was much better than the first).
They then became "best friends", but you don't stick your tongue in your best friend's mouth, do you?

The triplets had a wonderful birthday with much cake.

James grew into a Family Sim who wants to become a Captain Hero.

Angelo became Blueberry Meadows' first Fortune Sim with a LTW of reaching the top of the adventurer career.

Terrance became a Popularity Sim who wants to have 20 BFFs before he dies.
All 4 Stevens boys got A+s in school, and Angelo received the SimCity Scholar Grant.
Tomorrow we visit the Cummings, and finally get to see what happens with the Dominic/Jared thing.
